Chamonix is a town of 10,000 with an elevation of 3,000ft and looks up the dual cable cars to the top station of Aiguille du Midi at 13,000ft.  The vertical relief from town to top of two cable cars is 10,000ft (that’s over 3 times the vertical relief at most Western US ski areas which averages around 3,000ft).  Mt Blanc at nearly 16,000ft is the center and looks over the 7+ ski areas in the vicinity, including Italy.  In this outstanding Alpine Environment having an organizing Host helps ensure a peak ski experience.
